Lithuanian trade mark

Almost 1000 years – that was a period for Lithuania to create its own trade mark revealing the essence of a country. Ungrateful history forced us to fight for survival, but not for the search of creative ideas.
However, today, countries compete for the attention of tourists by their state image, that is why the Lithuanian trade mark was introduced in August, 2008. It represents different regions of the country set in a contour of Lithuanian map. Designers refused the traditional yellow, green and red colors associated to Lithuania. Attention must be caught by aggressive and intensive colours of the mark as they represent the determination, contrasts and dynamics of the country which was the first state to start the collapse of Soviet Union and today distinguishes itself by political leadership in the region, as well as economical growth, distinct cultural achievements and those in the sports field.
